This project constructed a 1,650-foot long, three-span bridge supported on single column bents founded on driven piles with only one column located in the median of the highway and the adjacent column and abutment located outside of Caltrans right-of-way. This new bridge connects Sports Park Drive to Harry Lorenzo Avenue over SR 113 completing a bicycle/pedestrian connection along the south side of town from CR 102 to East Street. UNICO provided full construction management services, including resident engineering, inspection, labor compliance and document control.
