LA Metro is developing several options for a new transit system between Sepulveda and Culver City, connecting through UCLA. The project is in early development and LA Metro will select their preferred alternative. As a subconsultant, UNICO is providing RAM analysis and calculation for the operational and subset vehicle elements. This work will drive infrastructure requirements so that the completed system delivers the performance and output desired by the client. UNICO is also drafting the Safety and Security Management Plan and subsequent Safety and Security Certification Plan on behalf of one of the teams. As this is a new transit project to be operated by a third party, the documentation requires a mix of LA Metro and other agency standards.
