This project improved the safety and visibility along the heavily trafficked Kirker Pass Road between the Cities of Concord and Pittsburg. The improvements included the removal of 156-feet of metal beam guardrail, installation of 5,400-feet of new guardrail, end anchor assemblies, terminal systems, roadside and median barrier delineators, and installation of four street lights. UNICO provided resident engineering services, field inspection, document control, labor compliance, and public outreach.
