During the winter storms of 2017, intense rainfall saturated the soil along the edge of Canyon View Drive causing a landslide of the downhill slope embankment. This project reconstructed the embankment, soldier pile wall with tie backs, and roadway, as well as relocated the waterline on Canyon View Drive where it intersects with Utica Drive. The new solider pile wall is approximately 90 feet long with a 14-foot tall exposed face. Approximately 115 feet of roadway was constructed to restore the road to the pre-washout condition. UNICO provided resident engineering services, field inspection, document control, and labor compliance.
