Our Team

Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for client service led Cesar to form UNICO Engineering. Creating opportunities for staff and seeing them succeed is one of his favorite things about his role as President. As a Senior Resident Engineer, Cesar leads our most complex construction management projects throughout California in both urban and rural settings ranging from safe routes to school improvements and roadway rehabilitation to large diameter wastewater pipeline construction.

As the Business Development Director, Lisa focuses on connecting people with projects throughout the state. She supports each of our three disciplines with extensive research into future infrastructure legislation and funding, promotes UNICO through involvement with multiple industry associations, and leads our strategic planning efforts. Lisa is passionate about mentoring UNICO staff through all phases of a project life cycle from pre-positioning to project closeout.

Kori is responsible for our people and culture. A simple statement with a huge task. From recruiting to compliance to ensuring that our staff have opportunities for growth and development, Kori is leading the way to integrate UNICO’s core values into everything that we do. This also includes programs to recognize peers, celebrate birthdays, and just have fun during the workday round out Kori’s responsibilities.

Carlos leads UNICO’s Construction Management Division statewide. He is an educator and mentor at heart and brings these strengths to building our construction management team. He also manages our Concord office and serves as a Senior Resident Engineer responsible for delivering roadway and rail projects.

Rob manages UNICO’s surveying operations statewide. Responsiveness is always top of mind when developing cost effective solutions for survey assignments. A true surveyor at heart, Rob finds opportunities to be in the field with the survey team as often as possible.
